I'm only a quarter into this book and i'm not going to finish it. First of all, I have no tolerance for typos, lots of them. Secondly, it's filled with grammatical errors, how did it get past a publisher like that? Then, it's boring and more of a romance than a ghost story.
This book kept me anticipating the "truth" of the house's secrets till the end. A great romance with a happy ending. I'll be checking out the rest of the series. Plan on doing nothing else when you read this, hard to walk away from!

I couldn't put it down then the lost feeling , wanting it to go on and on
Enjoyed this book even though it wasn't a scary haunted house story. I found it to be more of a romance. You gradually begin to realize what is going on between half and a third of the way and the ending aS decent. My only complaint would be that the reader is sort of left to decide for themselves what happens to a specific person because it isn't explained. I will give another of her books a try.
It reminds me of some of the dares I did. Haunted house I'm in I bought these because I wanted something different to read and I love horror. The way its wrote it will draw you in and you will believe this happened or could have
A great read with stunning sensual detail and a riveting storyline, Hargrove House is the first of the Haunted series written by Allie Harrison and she has knocked it out of the park! There were, admittedly, a couple of trivial inconsistencies in the details of character knowledge; but they’re not enough to slow this story down. Hargrove House will keep readers captivated from beginning to end! I can’t wait to read book 2 in the series to see what Harrison has in store for us next!
I think my headline pretty much sums it up. If I purchase a book, whether actual printed paper or electronic, I get rather upset when there are typos and grammatical errors.
On a different note, I didn't realize this was a love story...blah blah blah. I personally do not enjoy the romantic ramblings of a woman (and I am a woman -lol). I downloaded the sample first which did not give me the impression of a romance novel before purchasing the book...what a disappointment! Nothing against the author...this story line has been told many times and I'm sure will be told many more.
